Culture and History Presents:
Exploring Your Roots and Family History

Join us for a privately arranged Santa Barbara County Genealogical Society library presentation designed to tell all of the ways the library, books, documents, computer programs can help when delving into your personal family history. Library volunteers will be available to guide those who want help after the presentation. Bring any of your family names and dates that will help as a beginning point.
The purpose of the Santa Barbara County Genealogical Society is to promote study and research in genealogy by providing assistance and educational opportunities for those who are interested in pursuing their family history. A 20,000 volume library that specializes in genealogy and local history; holds meetings, classes, workshops and seminars to provide information and continuing education on genealogical subjects.
On December 6th at 10:00 we have arranged a part-2 private tutorial for using the FamilySearch computer program, the largest world-wide ancestral data base available. This event will be held at another location.
Please remember to wear your name badges. Following the presentation and workshop we will go around the corner to The Brewhouse for lunch. Please bring enough cash to pay for your order.
