Nature & Outdoors Presents:
Walk and Wine: West Beach Neighborhood, New Deal Art, and Brewhouse!
The West Beach Neighborhood is one Santa Barbara's best-kept walking secrets! With its eclectic architecture and historic sites, and convenience to the Ocean and downtown, it is enthusiastically sought after by "those in the know." Sue Grafton fans know of it as Kinsey Millhone's neighborhood.
Join us as we explore and experience this lovely location. We'll explore little-known streets, pass by Burton's Mound, admire the Morton Fig Tree, and end the adventure with a drink and a bite at the famed Brewhouse.
A special feature will be a short stop at the Veteran's Memorial building. It will open especially for us, so we can take a quick view of two magnificent 8x25 foot canvases, painted by famous portrait artist Samuel Edson Vaughan, as part of the 1930's New Deal project.
Don't be a no-show.
Self pay for happy hour food & drink.
