Dr. Spiegel Received his undergraduate degree at Duke University, then went to Univ Carolina at Chapel Hill for his MD. After a residency at George Washington University, he took an Associate Professor position in Rheumatology at UCLA School of Medicine.  He obtained a Masters in Public Health, then moved to Santa Barbara in 1987 establishing a private practice, and taking position at Sansum and Cottage hospitals.  He has 40 peer-reviewed publications and edited 2 books.
